What is a fractional general counsel arrangement?

A fractional general counsel arrangement gives a business access to senior legal support on a part-time, recurring, or flexible basis. It is designed for companies that need high-level legal judgment and business-facing support, but do not need a full-time GC headcount.

Who do you typically work with?

I primarily work with businesses operating in the contingent labor ecosystem and related workforce models - including staffing firms, MSPs, RPOs, EOR/AOR providers, workforce platforms, HR-tech businesses, BPO / solutions providers, and companies with significant contingent workforce exposure.

Do you only work with suppliers, staffing firms, or intermediaries?

No. I also work with enterprise buyers and operating companies that have significant contingent workforce usage, supplier-governance complexity, outsourced-service exposure, or workforce-model risk.

What kinds of issues do you handle?

The work can include fractional GC support, worker-classification and contingent workforce risk reviews, joint-employment analysis, commercial contracts, employment and restrictive-covenant matters, supplier and customer agreements, disputes, outside counsel management, cross-border support, and selected strategic projects including transaction support.

Can you handle worker classification and IC misclassification audits?

Yes. That is one of the core practice areas. I can help with enterprise-wide audits, model review, documentation, governance design, remediation planning, and related risk mitigation work.

Do you only handle legal work, or can you help with commercial and operating issues too?

I handle both where appropriate. The point of the practice is not just legal issue spotting. It is to help leadership teams align legal structure, contracting, risk allocation, governance, and operating reality.

Can you help with complex contracts in the staffing and workforce solutions space?

Yes. That includes customer, supplier, staffing, MSP, RPO, EOR/AOR, SOW, BPO, direct sourcing, platform, SaaS, and other workforce-delivery agreements.

Do you manage disputes and outside counsel?

Yes. I can manage litigation and disputes, help frame settlement strategy, and supervise outside counsel when specialist litigation or local support is needed.

How are engagements structured?

Engagements are typically handled on an hourly, monthly retainer, or project basis, depending on scope, cadence, and business need.

Do you publish your rates on the website?

No. Rates are discussed after initial fit and conflict review because scope and cadence can vary materially from one matter to another.

Do you offer preferential pricing for disadvantaged businesses or mission-aligned organizations?

Yes. Preferential pricing may be available for eligible disadvantaged businesses and certain mission-aligned organizations, depending on fit, scope, and availability.

How do we get started?

Start with the Request Intro Call form. I will review the submission, perform an initial conflict screen, and follow up if the matter looks like a fit. No attorney-client relationship is formed until conflicts are cleared and a formal engagement is confirmed.
